I know, I know. I sound like a broken record, but Smitten Kitchen just knows everything about everything and when she tells you to make chocolate peanut butter cup cookies, you DO IT! And that’s just what I did. They were NUTS! Easy to make and all out of things I already had in the cupboard. The surprise inside is awesome – I can see why the internet is so obsessed.

My only trouble was I do think they came out a little under-baked. The recipe instructions do say that they’ll look under-baked but I think this is MORE under-baked than hers look. They were very yummy and very intense. Even I, queen of dessert-eating, was only able to have one in a sitting! Though maybe I could have gone a little smaller too? I feel like that’s a pattern with me. Anyways, I recommend them!
