Today I patched a table cloth! Each week, my mom hosts “Apocalypta’s Sewing Circle” where several ladies show up and do some form or other of handiwork. I usually prefer to be handed a project rather than coming up with my own and Mom is very accommodating. Today as I was snacking at the table I asked what my project could be and David pointed to a hole in their tablecloth and said “How bout this?”  I patched it in the same way that you would earn a sock. Mom was excited since the job I did of it looks similar to other vintage patches in other vintage cloths. It ain’t perfect, but I made it!
